Guys here's the deal lets go fishing period. Do or Don't like FFS just go fishing.

He seems to struggle with reading also since the op was asking a setup question regarding equipment and his comment had nothing to do with anything

I like the guy, minus the lack of commas and it’s a bit harder to read. The constant crying is getting old, yeah….don’t read it. But yawwwnnnnnnn, it’s not going to go away or be banned anytime soon. I guess they need a “my feelings are hurt because of FFS section”, but don’t run this dude off. Sounds like he’s not a whiner, like the dems.

As to the original question, I think 360 and LS would be awesome. But perspective and forward are great too.

Basically I use 360 to see the area around me and then I use the Livescope to determine if the fish are home and active. Now if you are a haul [censored] power fisherman 360 may not be as important. You can speed it up but you lose detail at the fastest speeds but for checking out an area quickly and getting a good look at what is around you it is a great tool.

Exactly how I use it.

I just made this decision recently and went with Mega 360 over a 2nd FFS Transducer. Partly due to being less than impressed with Lowrance's AT Scout (Perspective) Mode, and partly due to M360's ability to really shine at showing things like inside/outside grass lines and structure in general. I've also switched from AT to LVS-34 as well, so bascially a overhaul of electronics on the bow for me.

Grout, glad you like my post, however I have been on this sight for 15 years or so. I opened a division for a company and had to change all kind of stuff so have a new handle. WAWI and Steez are good. they post a lot of great comments, they are just messing with someone they think is new. Now I don't post that much but read multiple times a day and their comments are spot on. Everyone has positive and negative about FFS, me I just like to fish. The pros are going to use everything they can, hell they have to. Met McKinney at Mexican restaurant in Many when he was at Toledo. Him and Joey Cifuentes set right next to us. they are incredible fishermen and even better people. Joey actually said he missed it by a day or so he thought the big ones were coming to him and never got big bite. The youngster was as humble and professional as can believe. Great kid. Glad to see him win at Fork.
