If you’re too old to scope, you’re gonna go broke.

The simple solution is let them do what they want and you do what you want.
If you don't like FFS, don't watch and go fishing the way you like.

Everyone will be happier.

[quote=Ekman Spiral]This technology cannot to be compared to the others. It is vastly different. The argument of "lets go back to flashers then" is no argument at all. Every sport including bass fishing has limitations. Length of rod, motor size, I'm sure there are many more. I can't use all the latest technology in hunting. Full auto exists, electric callers, Utv's with mounted guns. Because it exists doesn't mean it has to be used. Can you use any bat in baseball, club in golf, racket in tennis etc.? No. Not saying get rid of it in every event, Just have some events where it is not allowed mixed in. It's too one dimensional is all I'm saying.
Being able to dominate at the highest level with FFS alone prevents us from seeing the multiple skills that truly make a really great angler.

PLUS MAN IT JUST SUXS TO WATCH.

This is very true, in every sport they draw a line somewhere to keep
It authentic to its roots. The thing that makes bass fishing different and special is unlocking the daily mystery and finding a pattern but now it’s becoming who shakes a minnow in front of a blob on a screen? The tech will continue to get better and hopefully a line will get drawn somewhere. What if you could only use it half the day or 1 of the 3 days?

The day after catching a lot of fish is still a good day.

Allow it on day one and two. Then cut all electronics except mapping for days three and four.

It would be fun to watch these scoping rookies fall flat in their [censored] after the cuts. Hahaha

They wouldn’t be shaking minnows and throwing jerkbaits out there if the fish weren’t there in the first place. Seems the scopers pattern was the better one through three days at least.

I think they can all fish fine- they are just not too stubborn to go where the big fish are.
