Fishing has been good when I have been able to go. Shad die off has slowed. Still not sure what caused that. The only large fish I have seen dead was a five pound carp a pelican was choking down. Fished Sunday morning with a group of three. Caught a limit of nice stripers on Arkie jigs with 1/2 swimn Dinger as the trailer. Cutting the dinger in half makes the bait about the size bait the fish are feeding on.
