I think Randy is a great voice for fishing and the purity of the sport. Disagree or agree, a competition of ideas and arguments breed success.
Never surround yourself with people who ultimately agree with everything you have say.
Right or wrong…. Difference of opinions are healthy.
However, I don’t think it’s beneficial to ostracize the legendary anglers that paved the way to bass fishing to even be a sporting event or a way to make money…. It’s unfortunate to see anglers bash their mentors.

It’s unfortunate to see anglers bash their mentors. I got to say, I really like Randy's posts before he went into the FFS angle. He has a wealth of knowledge. One thing I always wondered, why he never had any actual footage of him fishing. I agree to disagree with him, and he has tired his horn about the views he has received about actual good tips, versus his rants. The click bait gets him more views, than actual good info he shares. I know he is a good fisherman, I just don't follow his views. I can learn more about a spot with FFS in about 10 seconds, than if I fished the spot blind for hours. If you can understand it, it's a data. goldmine.. I miss the old Randy.

I think he is spot in his latest video about the Zaldains video showing Bryan Schmidts abomination.

He doesn’t want purity he wants to be stuck in 1995 or whatever year he was being successful.
