The Ray Roberts Marina is working to open a ramp at the back of the Marina for the public. It could be opened by this weekend if the weather will allow it. They will be charging $20.00 per boat to launch. But at least you will be able to get on the lake. here is the Number at the Marina for details ( 940-458-7343 ).

woot banana cheers

That's goods news.

It's going to Labor Day or after before the other ramps are open due the recent rains IMHO.

$20! Sounds like they are into taking advantage of people IMHO.

I'm with Jerry on this one, nothing like a little price gouging in times of need.

Unless they're building a new ramp, 20 bucks is outrageous IMHO.

That cuts deep into the minnow money budget. Probably go somewhere else for now. Ramps will open soon, lake is almost to the magic level everyone seems to think some other ramps will open.

$20 is like stealing from fellow fishermen. Not interested!

I agree but just thought I would pass on the info. I do know a lot of people that can't wait to get back on the lake that will pay it.

I know its a lot but I live very close to Roberts and I would spend the $20.00 in gas to haul my boat elsewhere. I don't know why they haven't done this before now. Thanks for the info Cliff I for one am glad to hear it.

See you on the lake and have a great day!

I agree with the other dissentors, though I don't own a boat.

That's nice they're trying to help folks get on the lake, but THAT'S FLAT OUT price gouging! Sad really.

I talked with them(the marina) and they are basing their price on what it cost 4 people or 1 boat full to enter the state park which is $5.00 each or $20.00. I agree, a rip off, but the state and TP&W have been doing this sort of thing for a long time. What of those of us with current passes that we cannot use at our lake because they refuse to let out a foot or so of water.

See you on the lake and have a great day!
