Clark Wendtland- maybe I mis spelled his name, he sounded like a whiny Randy Blaukat on the stage. Man I didn't get that impression at all... Just sounded like talking about a day of fishing. Why do you think he was whining...he just said he wasn't scoping. Yeah, I can’t see that, he was running livescope way before it was ever on the market.

Hes been with Garmin forever, he was beta testing first gen panoptix. Apparently he didn’t trust it. Scott beat him with it in the first major bass tournament win I remember.

8 out the top 9 qualifiers from the '23 Bass Opens EQ made it to day 3 of their first event. That is pretty impressive. Also Tim Dube qualified via the B.A.S.S. Nation Championship and also made the cut.
Times are changing on the Elite Series, it's just a matter of time before the Opens and Toyotas are full of the olds.
Someone should start a "dead pool" for the Old BASS Elite angler's careers

It’s time for elites to drop the “elite” moniker. Zero skill is involved and natural talent is useless against ridiculous electronics. Do I hate ffs? No. At the elite level? Absolutely!
