I got to meet Gale Sayers back in 1980 at a banquet... He gave some background on the movie... Truly inspiring... Can you imagine your team drafting the likes of Sayer and Butkus in the same draft and never reaching the playoffs???... Dan

I wouldn't quite call it a "tear-jerker", but Stephen King's The Mist has a ridiculously sad and effed up ending.
