Outage is due to a peering issue most likely....Where calls from one network to another happen through a peering arrangement/exchange.

Thank goodness I am not at Zayo or Level 3 anymore or I would be on non stop conference calls today until it was fixed! Whenever a major outage like this happened, whether it was the fault of a carrier or not, we had to go through extensive network audits, network performance reviews etc....it always resulted in that, SVPs kicking downstream to ensure network survivability. Then 6 months later, back to building or buying the cheapest and fastest network routes available.

Mine’s out, can’t call or text. Saw earlier this week the US is on high alert for an attack on cyber infrastructure by Chine-uh.

I just received a call from my sister in SC, of course I let it go to vmx. Then swapped texts with her, no problem

My ATT is down since about 605am when I was on my way to work. My Spanish lessons stopped playing and said no network.

Got the office and everyone here that I spoke to (7 people) with ATT is down and 3 out of 5 with Verizon were down... So its for sure not just ATT. But seems to be full stop on ATT and partial on Verizon.

Have not talked to any Tmobile or what not folks. I said I bet its the Russians and they laughed... I was serious.

Our's are working fine... I guess it's a problem for those who live on their phones... Dan

I literally know people who go to the office everyday, the same place, but cannot get home without GPS...

Women. I am married to one. She has driven her office 300 times but cannot find it without GPS. She is not the only one. Thousands will be stuck at home. Without GPS telling them when to turn they cannot make it the corner store.

Pretty much everyone in my family uses AT&T. We are all down. Guys at work with AT&T are down. One guy that is on T-Mobile said his is working fine.
