Thanks Mo Is neither an option? I’d hit 175 to Athens then 19 north to Paris if I was going to OK.

The answer obviously depends on which part of Oklahoma you want to get to.
I do this drive all the time.
If you have the time and leave before 6am, the drive up 289 all the way to 82 is nice.
Otherwise it is I35 as the construction in Sherman is at an all time FUBAR. I swear that they have been working on that same stretch of 75 in south Sherman since I was in highschool in the late 80s. In comparison, the tollway people have expanded the tollway from 380 to almost 82 in less than two years.

Very soon, the answer will be to take the tollway all the way up through Sadler, then Gordonville and cross the Hardrock Casino bridge at Sherwood Shores into Willis Oklahoma.

Final destination is in Love county, just off hiway 32 , near Wilson creek. So I can go 35 and jog East or 75 and jog west…
My main concern is construction, last time I went on 35 it was terrible.

OK, if crossing at the Willis Bridge, and leaving north Dallas before 6am I'd do one of the following:
If you want free, no tolls. 289 (Preston) to 82 then west to 377 north on 377 across the bridge
If you feel adventurous and are curious as to just how far north the Tollway/North Dallas Parkway goes these days and don't mind paying some tolls until 380:
North Dallas Parkway all the way to 121/Gunter Main Street, then to 377 north across the bridge

If construction is what you are trying to avoid stay home. Lol. I think 35 is the best bet. Sherman area construction is ok most times, but it takes 1 idiot and it’s backed up for miles.
Smoke on!

^^^^ this is correct.
Also, do not drive on 289 if it is a Friday during high school football season.
All it takes is a parade of horse drawn hay bails filled with cheer squad members to halt traffic from Celina to Dorchester.

Thanks Mo Is neither an option? I’d hit 175 to Athens then 19 north to Paris if I was going to OK. This is best from where you live. Go to Paris and get on the Indian Turnpike in Hugo.

Mo is not dumb. Download the WAZE app and do what WAZE says.
If leaving from Athens, I'd do the following:
19 North to 69 to Denison.....cross the border on the 75/69 bridge....then west on Oklahoma HWY 70
