Los Angeles meets Albuquerque with some gambling thrown in.

north vegas petro truck stop used to have some pretty loose slots in the entry, pilot was close second.

the speedway is right behind the petro, I think shelby used to be there but not sure if they still are.

The far west part of it near Red Rock Canyon is nice.

I've only been there for five hours. It was kind of a drunken road trip.

I enjoy Vegas once every 3 years. Those 7 days takes 7 years of my life.

Back from 2007-2012 when I worked for a defense contractor I used to bounce back and forth between Iraq and Yuma, AZ. When in Yuma I had an apartment and rental car provided to me. Vegas was only 5 hours away and used to go every few weeks for a weekend. With military discount I used to get a suite at the Golden Nugget for like $60 a night. The good old days. Haven't been back since.

When I see Nevada on On Patrol Live….EVERYTHING looks like a trailer park full of white trash.

I went with a girlfriend I didn't care for.

This woman had a gift for finding discounts.

5 day and 5 night stay at the New York, New York.

There was a tour involved. Hoover dam and a chocolate factory.

Bus tickets were part of the package.


Alcohol is crazy expensive. And so is bottled water.




And everything is scratched up. They never show it in ads but the walking bridges with plastic sides. Have someone's name scratched into it.




Doesn't matter the time or day. If you wanna drink whiskey at 3am and churn a slot machine.


Nobody cares. Live your own life as you see fit.

Mark, the Mob museum near downtown is awesome if you like that sort of thing. You can look and read for hours there. I go without my wife so she’s not asking me to leave before I’m ready. I’ve been 3 times and find something new and interesting each time.

The most impressive thing I saw. Was a street demonstration of sign dancers.


You know, the lame the guy tossing a sign around, for some tax return store?

Go to the Stratosphere and ride the extreme rides

Go out to the gun range that has the full automatic weapons and fire off some rounds.

Take a drive around Lake Mead and take some pics for us.

Henderson and Summerlin are super nice. My best friend is from Henderson, so I go visit frequently. It is a great place to have a family and live with low taxes and a cost of living that’s not completely insane.

If I could get a job there, I would move out of Texas in a heartbeat.
