LRH is my local lake but just cannot figure out this lake.

Any tips on this lake. Spent 7 hours on this lake today and it felt like I was on the Dead Sea.

Thanks James! Now that they are building new lanes over I-30 they conveniently made the crossbeams perfect for kayak fishermen.

Rip Rap, Marinas, the river and now docks. There were no docks yet when I lived in the area.

I've only been on it twice in my lifetime and it kicked my butt both times. I watched a video a while back of a guy wearing them out fishing around the wave breakers at one of the marinas throwing a medium diving crankbait, I said if I ever got back on it I'd try that. Are there any SECURE pay to use boat ramps on the lake?

Give it another month or so and catching won't be so difficult. All these North / Northeast Texas lakes that have zero grass (which is pretty much all of them) suck right now for numbers. It will get easier soon.

My home lake GV, same thi ng. Find pockets between primary and secodary points that the wind is blowing into. Late afternoon bite is the best (3-sunset). Lipless for me. If you can find a ramp in one of these locations, all the better. It's getting close, but I would say the big push on the majority of the lakes will be March. These cold night sure suppress the warming water.
