The Ray Hubbard Bass Club held our first tournament of 2024 on Saturday February 10th on Lake Palestine. It was warm for February and we got through registration and the first hour of fishing before the sky opened up on us. It rained steady for the next 7 hours with a couple heavy downpours. No lightning around luckily and fishing was decent. I think the weather kept some people at home but we had 28 boats on the water. When everyone had weighed in the team of Jeremy McLeroy and Tm Clark won the day with an outstanding bag of 20.91 pounds! Their catch included the second largest fish in RHBC history, and 11.32 monster that took home big bass honors. Here are full results and pictures.

Jay and Garrett Browne had four for 9.48
Ronnie Manning and Capp Peace had a limit for 10.58
Les and Danny Magee also fished with us for their first time and had five for 10.65
Joe and John Coursey had five for 11.02
Sixth place went to Mark Calhoun and James Clifton with a limit that weighed 11.21
Preston Smith and David Horton got fifth with five for 11.38
Fourth place went to Chris Atkinson and myself with a limit for 13.11
Jerry Brown and Tony Schnurr got third place with a limit for 13.58
Second place went to Tony Bryant and Brig Norwood with five that went 14.26

Tim Clark caught this 11.32 pound beast to get big bass of the tournament. Congrats Tim!
