If there was a way to move Arlington to East Tennessee I would move there. Absent that, there is no other state I would live in.

Louisiana, love the people and culture. Washington state, the climate is fantastic.

Louisiana for sure. Lot of family and great fishing and duck hunting. Parts of Arkansas would work too, but I’m never living north of I10.
I spend too much time in New Mexico to want to live there. Maybe Farmington if it was a must but the rest they can Keep.
But none of them are better than where we are now

Florida, it actually is my favorite but unfortunately my business interests don't travel. Once the boy gets grown up and out of college we'll end up there. Sadly he's only 12. Too bad you can't move there sooner. My nieces grew up in Lake City. If they maintained at least a B average in high school in state tuition was free. Not sure if still the case in FL.

I will say all the people I met in rural California were salt of the earth. Hands down the most beautiful places I've ever been. Yep, took this pic country skiing at Cameron pass in fresh snow.

Lots of beautiful areas around the country. If cost and money were not an object I could pick a number of places to live for specific times of the year.
Western Montana, northern Minnesota or Wisconsin. Idaho around Coeur de Alene. Alaska in Lake Clark NP area. Wyoming around Jackson Hole. Florida. California is a nice tract of land that liberals have horribly screwed up living there.
I have been in all but 6 states. Hawaii, Rhode Island, North and South Dakota, Delaware and Nebraska. Just about all states have nice scenic area to live.
Texas isn’t necessarily my favorite state. It’s good but I could pick other states to live in. My job is here. Lived here since 1976. I would move away from the heat after retiring but wife wants to stay here with grandson close. Definitely will get out of the hell hole that is Harris County when I retire in 4 years.
Going to get a big 5th wheeler and leave during the Texas summers.

Most beautiful? California. Hands down.
State I'd live in? Colorado or Tennessee
State to visit/vacation? Alaska then Florida
Least Favorite State? New Mexico. Hell hole of drunken theivein Indians. *Your experience may vary, but that was mine. who’s REALLY the thieves Dan? Weren’t they there first? Theivin is a positive Injun character trait. Wealth was determined in Indian (feather not dot) culture by how many horses you could steal/possess. Well they tried to count kou on my Uhaul trailer... must have thought there were ponies in it. Then later in the Wal Mart parking lot a pair of them approached and insisted I, "Give them my sh** or get fu**ed up". Told them I did not have anything, they were messing with the wrong dude and I very quickly got out of there. Both of those incidents happened in the same 12 hour stay in Grants New Mexico... F the whole state. I dont even stop to take a leak when I have to drive through NM for 3 hours to get to Colorado. Would not want any more trouble with the savages.
