A friend pointed out earlier that they may have skipped PK due to water level concerns.

In late March they will smash them… fish will be from 1’ deep to 40’ depending on area of the lake. If you e been out lately then you know there’s been boats near every creek channel on the lake scoping timber. I’d venture to say those fish are more pressured than the normal winter mid to shallow depth areas from what I’ve seen so far this year.

Start stocking Roberts now please...
Fish numbers are lower in that lake than any other in N Tex.

Lake gets tournament pounded like many of them do but does not get stocked very well. The other issue is we need they guys that like to shoot carp and gar out there in droves...

See you on the lake and have a great day!

I wish they'd do it somewhere in East Texas but not the metro area or take it back to the Red River/ Shreveport Bossier area. You'd still be basically in east Texas. I drove to Forth Worth for the Ray Bob Classic, I probably won't do that again.

Talking to someone last week on RR and stocking it privately which was told against the law. Texas Parks please wake up on this lake, it's great fishery but pounded, pounded the last 5 years, bass numbers dropping... Can't wait for classic to take all those big females out of the lake.
