It’s been really tough for me. I’ve managed 3 fish over two days. DS bite hasn’t cooperated with me. In the upper 40’s depth pic I would think I’d get bit but no. My bite has been on structure in 15-20 ft. And by that I mean docks. Lost what I would bet to be a 20’” fish at the boat for the first bite and got a 12 after that. Caught two of what I would guess to be 15. They are fat and appear ready. Just east and then west of 377 is muddy but loaded with not hungry fish. Water temp 46-48 main lake. 50 in the mud.

Where I caught today was loaded with every bird. Don’t know how the shad died but it was a steady stream of them all day.

This weekender thank you for the report on catching and on current condition, nadaGuide. Looks like you found Huckleberry Finns house? He offered any tips? Lol. This winter will be my 4th consecutive boat residency at Texoma and DS this season is the slowest by a mile so far. Been burning lots of fuel looking at usual spots plus new territory. This lake is ocean huge! Also boat in the shop for 5 weeks didn't help either lol. But we still got about a month of winter for redemption. So tomorrow is a new day fish

What is the deal with the tent structure?

Filming "Alone" out there or what?

yeah i edited my post but i guess i screwed it up to explain the tent. it looks like homeless have moved in to pawpaw creek.

I went out again yesterday. Didn’t do a lot of fishing but did drive A LOT. Some observations. Caney creek is where I would fish all day if I had it to do again. Unfortunately that area is also where everyone is trying to fish.

I went north to little glasses in the afternoon and was stunned at the amount of bait. All the bait always seemed to be in the lower column of water whether it was in 60 or 20 ft.

There was a substantial warmup of SWT yesterday. I got as high as 54 in little glasses
