I will be swapping out my TM batteries in a couple of months. I am going with lithium. Trying to decide between the 50A or 100A. Boat came with a 24 volt TM and I got a good deal on a 24v Motorquide with spotlock. I am normally off the lake by noon but don't want to cut myself short on capacity. I fish in some pretty windy conditions on open water and use the TM to avoid spooking fish. I also run a small TM with splasher or thumper. Right now leaning towards 100A just trying to justify the cost difference. I have a brand new AGM cranking battery so not looking to replace it right now.

Look up the specs for Max Amp Draw on whatever you plan on connecting to the Lithium. Add all those up and divide the battery Ah by that number to give you hours run time. Example: Minnkota 80 Ultrex pulls 56 amps at 10 on the speed, 33.6 amps per hour at 6 on the speed and 16.8 amps per hour at 3 on the speed. This is running at that same speed constantly. At 3 speed, constantly, you would run a 50Ah battery down in about 3 hours. A 100Ah battery would be used in about 6 hours.

Do you carry a single 100 amp 36 volt? No sir, all Ionic makes is a 36v 50Ah battery. Maybe in the near future......
