Fishing was off the hook. Scoped up a bunch of slot fish in deep timber. Was prob the most fun 1.5 days of fishing I had had in a long time. Number of 3-5 pounders was unreal. Been a long time since I have been to fork. Was hard to leave. It was lights out. Jerkbait? Minnow rig?

Mustang Resort and now Fisherman's Cove with the new owner are my go to with mustang having a slight lead because it just feels like a more secure property. nothing has been bothered at the cove since scott took over as far as I know, I have been there since he got it. one of the permanent retirees has some good watchdogs and lives out front.

We stayed there last year. New owner was cool, had the fire pit going, they cooked steaks, we set up fryer and did fish. Much better than the karaoke days.

This is why I only use the X cords with the lights on the plugs while traveling.
Just to know you have power still running to the boat through the night during recharge

OK-- I was fishing the Legions a few yrs, back and stayed there. They had a buffet and I ate some white looking sausage. Im early at my spot having coffee when it's time to fish Im puking my gut's up. Never recovered. Boat out at about 1:00.... Went home pissed. Why did you eat white sausage? If it didn't look right don't eat it.

This is why I only use the X cords with the lights on the plugs while traveling.
Just to know you have power still running to the boat through the night during recharge Unless you planned on staying up all night and staring at that light im not real sure how a cord with a lit head would of made any sort of difference. The plugs timed out.

I've always had really good luck at Lake Fork Marina. So I just always stay there. Really hard to beat that place for the price. Back right up to your door, plug the boat in, and crack a cold one. Always been super clean and nice.
