Howdy folks, posting up the details of the 2024 12 hour RRHS BAPS fundraiser offshore charter.

Date: Saturday October 5th, 2024

Location: DeepSea Headquarters, Port Aransas, Texas

Cost: $255 per person based on 20 spots taken (Max number) this includes a $15 donation per spot to the RRHS BAPS program

Deposit: $125 due April 26th, balance due September 15th: $130

This charter will be like the previous RRHS BAPS charters; fish for fun fighting & good eating species, either drift or anchored as well as chase any shrimpboats in the area looking for tuna.We will focus on tuna if boats are in the area and run & gun if needed.

Deposit deadline is April 26th for deposits, balance due Sunday September 15th

Boat will have gear, will ice fish and dock fishing cleaning is available.

Small ice chest are allowed for food & drinks

6 spots committed on this charter, not same folks as Sept 21st charter.

Never been... Can i get more info on this. Like how long is the charter, what to bring, carpooling list, etc. Anymore info would be great.

It's a 12 hour charter. Mainly for hitting shrimp boats for Blackfin tuna. some bottom fishing for Vermillion snapper and grouper in between. You'll need a reel that holds a least 200-300 yards of 40-50 lb. mono or braid. And a 20-50# rod. Or you can use the boat rods and reels.

If you commit You'll be placed on an email list where you can discuss carpooling , etc.

DSH requires deposit of 1/2 charter cost by early May, if don't have at least 15 commits & deposits by end of April, we will cancel the charter.
