My dad is getting older and all he talks about going to fish OH Ivie. Obviously Jones is booked up but I'm looking for any recommendations on a big fish guide down there. We will be coming up from Oklahoma. I appreciate any help.

I doubt he is booked. You should reach out. I'm guessing you haven't seen or heard how bad the fishing is down there

In for a huge disappointment. Go elsewhere if you are smart Yup, been fishing lousy since last last spring but if you insist on going get with Wendell Ramsey 325-234-6053. He’s local and not part of the circus.

If you’re determined to come I would call Kyle Hall or Wendell Ramsey.
The good thing about Wendell is you will catch fish and not just stare at a FFS screen all day.

Go to your local barbershop sit in the lobby and watch hair cuts all day. If you enjoyed doing that then go to Ivie. It’s the same thing. Heard you could walk boat to boat yesterday and ain’t nobody catching chit. The opportunity to catch all the giants was the last 5 years after Miliken exposed the gem. The guys that were good could catch 5 DDs in a weekend hell sometimes a day. IMO a few are left and it will prob kick out maybe a few more and maybe not. But it is a waste of time going there now.
