Boat is a Promaster 210, center console, w/Johnson 130. Currently has a 3 blade 14.25 X 21P aluminum prop. It runs 42MPH @ 5300. No jack plate.

Looking to upgrade to stainless. 3 or 4 blades? Same pitch?

4 Blade RXB powertech with small vents 19" should be exactly the ticket on that rig.

4-blade will get you out of the whole a little easier and keep a good bite in rough water.

Pat is dead on AGAIN!!!!!

that lil' rxb is an awesome prop for smaller engines. it's very aggresively cupped, that's why you will want it in a 19p.
you will also need to raise your engine to compensate for the 4th blade.

you'll want it with 3/8's ports.

let me know if you need some help ordering.

snake - sorry for hijackin, i have a question for steve.

i have a ranger 1750 reata with a 115 yamaha 4stroke. it runs pretty good. i have been thru several props on it to get the right one. it is the mercury trophy performance vent system. right now all the plugs are in the holes of the vents. should i take two opposites completely out or get new plugs with a small hole in each for better holeshot? what is my best option? i think they sell 3 different sizes of holes for those plugs.

thanks.

Thanks for the input guys. I run a TR04 24P or a High Five 25P on my Ranger and like both. I did have to get the TR04 drilled to improve the holeshot. The TR04 pulls hard all the way to WOT once I'm on plane.

Steve or Pat, whats the chances of finding a used one? They're pretty pricey brand new. You guys volunteer a lot of information on this board and would love to send you some business if we can.

I also have a Promaster 210 with a 130 Johnson. I currently have 14.25 X 17P SS prop and it gets after it.

WOT is around 5600 rpm and with three people in the boat, I top out between 47-48 mph. Hole shot is great.

I'd be interested to see how yours runs with a 19P, so post up if you get one.

Steve, my guess he wants you to let him know if you come across a 19P for his 130 Johnson. . .

I don't know a whole bunch about props, but these are a bit more affordable. Maybe Steve can recommend one, if any. . .
