It was Presidio, now it's a bit west of Del Rio. Outside of Comstock there's nothing a bit west of Del Rio oh, bubba! sanderson had a town and country with room for about 5-6 trucks, made it a point to stop there for ZAP cola and tacos/tamales and other mexican gas station delicacies. they had some of the best stuff in their little restaurant place, del rio truck stop on ne side of the loop was great too, had to order fresh at both places most of the time.

Never been to that truck stop on NE side of town but have to say for being a border town the Mexican food in Del Rio sucks big time. been a few yrs. since I was there too, both had excellent barbacoa/tacos, sanderson did good tamales made in the store, never saw any fresh at del rio. when you are stuck in a semi drive up is not normally an option either so there is that, your taste buds probably compensate.
