Just a reminder folks because I am working on one right now.

If your windows computer is set up so that you have to enter a password or PIN to get to your desktop screen please take the time
to make yourself a " Password reset disk " using a flash drive.

Reason being if your windows account profile gets infected or corrupted when attempting to logon to windows it will repeateadly say " incorrect password, try again "

Your password reset disk will get you around this.

It does not happen on the regular but it still happens and you should be prepared.

cheers

Thanks Robert. Hey, what you cooking lately?

Keep looking forward. That’s why windshields are larger than rear view mirrors.

Being dumb, how do you make a "Password Reset Disk"?

Type Password Reset in the search box and click Create a password reset disk. Click Next. Select the location to create the password key disk, ...

Followed instructions and it created a PSW file on my flash drive. Tried to open file and just get a bunch of mumbo-jumbo letters and numbers.

What next???????

That flash drive you created is to be used with the reset password function of windows.

If you ever find yourself unable to log into windws, at the login screen you choose the option to reset your password (with the flash drive plugged in )
