Looks like the start of a good ole pot of Pastalya. Same as a Jambalya, but with noodles instead of rice.

I'm always disappointed in the food when I get to Florida, I don't know it's really that bad or if it's the fact that we generally spent a couple days in New Orleans on the way and it's just a hard act to follow. I like everything about Louisiana cooking

Louisiana food is a survival of the fittest mix of indigenous tribes, black, French, pirate/buccaneer, English, Spanish foods/recipes. When there is a survival of the fittest of multiple competitors; new and exciting cuisines will be created with the very best elements of all the food cultures coming together.

Other than the Everglades and the Keys, I see no reason to ever visit Florida.

Please get his autograph. I’m a huge fan.

I’m sure you have a sharpie and an empty beer can up there.

Signature on a beer can would be perfect, thank you.

Heck yes!!!! Many of the Asians bring good times and spice to the food party. Red Rang agrees.

The only 2 things I think are overrated down there is the French donuts which are meh and chicory coffee should come with a warning label that explosive diarrhea is sure to follow.....

Hahaha! Totally with you on donuts; they are just glazed donuts with powdered sugar.
Go ahead and lump sopapillas and all that deep fried flour stuff to the no thank you list….only exception is the apple fritter.

Chicory coffee in moderation is great and keeps you regular.

The first time I had it I set the speed record for a butt clinched power walk from Jackson Square to hotel Monteleone. It was pure panic.
