My 8 year old nephew was diagnosed with a brain tumor yesterday. They're planning surgery next week.
Life is precious and this is something a parent or child should never have to encounter.

**side note**
Had a ex girlfriend who found out she had a baseball sized tumor in her brain. Surgery was 100% successful and she's living the good life. Frankly, her entire outlook on life and people has changed. Hope the surgery goes well!
