I prefer white American and provolone, grilled onions, and I also like sliced tomatoes and mayo. Largely indifferent on green peppers, and don't like places that use excess mushrooms to save money on quality sliced ribeye.

A lot of people confuse Cheeze Whiz with Easy Cheese.

On a similar note, Jersey Mikes has a pretty solid cheese steak for a fast food joint.

Forget the cheese whiz….provolone for the win. Meat, provolone, onions, and jalapeños.

Zac’s Philly cheese steaks. They fly in the bread from Philly fresh every day.

I also preferer provolone, but my friends from Pennsylvania told me that it needs Cheez Whiz to be considered the real deal. Unless you are running for president, then you ask for American. Years ago, a presidential candidate had a controversy because he ordered it with Swiss cheese. He lost the election because of it.

You can get the sliced beef at heb it comes in the frozen section. That browned up in a skillet and some sautéed japs onions and or bell peppers on a hoagie bun covered with fresh provolone and you’ve got yourself a easy and delicious Sammich . Super easy to make
