I always shop at Walmart when it opens, the seniors are out in full force but I’m one step quicker, in and out in minutes.

Our Sams Club has a self checkout aisle. They check you on the way out.

Do you know at WalMart if you get a frozen item and decide not to buy it they are not allowed to put it back into inventory

I enjoy the Walmart app on my phone… don’t even have to bring your wallet into Walmart.
Just scan the items at check out, being sure as to not get distracted by Metamucil on sale, then open the app and use to Walmart pay function by scanning the code on the Wmart computer total bill/ pay now screen.

Receipt automatically saved to the app, but go ahead and take the paper one to wave around if there’s a door person checking bags.

Very useful if you got distracted at home by your Metamucil and dentures collection and forgot to bring your wallet.

I just ignore and walk past them. Nobody has followed me out the door. That said I rarely shop there and when I do it is just to get one or two items.

What kind of man would forget his wallet, the most important item he owns, but remember his phone? I submit to you that is not a man at all.

I have a couple pairs of high vis pants with shallow pockets (potential for oversized high viz wallet falling out of the pockets).

I have my Drivers license and insurance card on my phone.

Boomers may have an actual walllet on them at all times; but us yutes will roll phone only pops.

Walmart is the Slumlord of retail grocery.

I like the self check outs because they give me a senior discount .

I love self checkout. Only thing that slows me down is all the items that now require authorization to purchase.

When they ask "can I see your receipt?". I wave it at them and say "see it?". It has been a while since I have been asked in Rockwall and I am there every week. Once I forgot to get some corn on my regular shopping trip. I had to run an errand so decided to stop and pick up 3 ears. I had to wait for a register to open up. 2 ladies in front of me bagged stuff and left. Rang up my 3 ears without even looking at the screen. Hit pay now and total was $60+. The 2 ladies walked out without paying. I just moved to another register.
