Geez. They make it tough to do the right thing. Long story short, I got distracted and figured out that I didn’t pay after I got home. I called the store & they said come on back and I could talk to the loss prevention officer.

I drove back & he was gone…come back tomorrow. I went home and figured I wouldn’t be able to sleep with that on my conscious so I put all my groceries back into the bag & drove back. They looked at me like an idiot when I went back to the register, rescanned, and paid

We forgot to get the receipt from the self checkout once. Almost got tackled at the door by the lady there. Had to go to customer service and show the charge on the credit card app on my phone.

No way they are gonna check my receipt if I scan my own items. They can check it while I scan, and I am not stealing, but I am also not giving g them an opportunity to review my cart after I paid.
I would clearly tell them get bent and I will never spend a penny their store again.

I tend to agree with you. I have had them try to stop me a couple of times. I just continue on and tell them they can follow me out to my truck and check it while I am unloading. They have absolutely no right to stop you without reasonable suspicion you have committed a crime.
