I tried Carol Shelby's chili mix the other day and it was actually pretty good. It was easy and quick and with onions, cheese, and a layer of Frito's it was very edible. Any other mixes worth trying?

I use 2 Alarm and combine it with Mortonโ€™s Chili Blend.

We use the basic stuff, McCormick I believe. But I add a lot of other stuff, especially to the beans while they cook and before I add those into the chili

I like Shelbys but trust me on this, go to Pendry's website, their chili blends are out of this world. The "Original" and "Top Hat" are my go to for chili.

1 - 1lb bag of the Top Hat lasts me ~ a year.

Here's their assortment for $22....Guarantee this will last you a long time. I haven't tried it yet but the Ft Worth light is supposed to be really good as well.

When I was smoking and doing gigs, Pendrys is where I bought all of my bulk seasonings for my rubs. You can get some top shelf spices there...i.e. Their smoked paprika, OMG so good in rubs. Since that chapter in life is history, I just goto Bryan now @ 407, can't make it any better.

That's been my go to as well. This is probably my favorite. I need to order a few to have.

lol! I think all the mixes need doctored some. ps - Wick's 2-Alarm is a good base but too much chili powder for my liking.
