The water on your fishing line will freeze and clog your reel with ice.

Some of my biggest bags have been in sub freezing weather. One while it was snowing on us. Those memories make me want to go on these brutally cold days.

I went to the Blue River in Oklahoma Saturday morning for some trout fishing. It was 18 degrees and I froze my a** off. i will never fish in that cold a temperature again!!.

I have caught some very nice fish while fishing in some very cold conditions over the years. Now that I am older, I fish in better weather conditions.

I have caught some very nice fish while fishing in some very cold conditions over the years. Now that I am older, I fish in better weather conditions. It's not so bad once your hands and face go numb! Lol
