4-6lb high vis mono. I usually use Mr. Crappie. Not a fan of braid at all.

15lb braid with 6lb to 10lb mono leader depending where I'm at. I catch a lot of bass and hybrid stripers too. Never had an issue. I hate/love braid. It has issues but I love the subtle hook set.

For me it depends on how I am fishing. I like using braid when vertically fishing deeper water due to it's sensitivity. I also like it when pitching into heavy cover because I can straighten my jig hook when I get hung. I like high vis mono when dock shooting because you have to be line watcher to detect most strikes. I always use mono when casting. I try and use as light as line as possible and I seldom use line over 6lb test when crappie fishing.

Life journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved state. But rather skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "holy carp what a ride!"

I use Sufix 832 braid - 20lb test/6 lb diameter. Love everything about it except for the frequent tangling on the end of the rod when long poling and trying to pitch out for livescope sniping. Is there a better braid option with less line tangling?

10 pound braid. Occasionally add a fluorocarbon leader.

6 lb hi-vis mono is my main. Mr. Crappie usually. I sometimes have 4 lb on a pole for bigger docks. 15-20 lb hi-vis yellow Power Pro when I feel like using braid

10# braid most of the time.
