Got out and dragged huge baits before the front hit. Fishing was lights out all morning.once we located them. 2 oz Carolina Lake Weight with a Brute Demon Dragon in Monty’s Revenge tipped with 10/0 Action Jaxon Hooks with stinger riggied 10” baits, pulled by Parks Planer Boards. Mad Katz rods were working overtime! Big fish went, 62, 52, 42, with 18 over 20lbs.

Do you have certified scales for the junior lake record?

We have a certified scale and used to do all the BS for the records but it ends up taking way too much effort and time to do them. Gotta go to shore to weigh and get a 3rd party to witness and it, ends up wasting all the good fishing time. He’s broken the Jr lake Record for just about every lake we fish multiple times. We just video weighing them now for the Mad Katz weekly contest and turn em loose. This fish should win Jaxon another $500. He’s put 2k in the bank from Mad Katz and won 12 rods this past year.

I think you may be locked in on those big cats.

Looks like a fabulous day.

I can count the days like that on one hand, and even then nothing quite like your day, just a couple of doubled up take downs and fish biting everything thrown at them. Was this on Lewisville or Lavon? I ask as that big tank wasn't far off the Lavon record!
