Best spinnerbait made. I pretty much only use mean green

That light wire is what makes them get bit so well. Don’t get lazy and boat flip any fish with them and you won’t have to worry about them breaking

Been throwing them since they sold them on wooden displays instead of packages, well aware of how well they work and why.
Boat flipping has nothing to do with them breaking or the blades slinging off.

If you got em, flip em.

I really like the Satone got five spinnerbaits. But you have keep an eye on them. If I know that’s what they are eating I will have at least a half dozen on boat.

I bought 150 Small Okie Bug 1/4 oz heads when they went out of business some years ago. probably still have 75-100 stashed in a rubbermaid container somewhere.

While true I did break one flipping a fish, I also broke them on fish just fishing normally the same way as I fish every other finesse spinnerbait. I’m fully aware of how to fish & the amount of abuse a bait should be able to take. Who knows , maybe I got a half a dozen bad ones. Outside of that bait I haven’t broke 6 spinnerbaits in 20 years of fishing.
I just don’t want people to lose important bass when there are better options out there.

Check out Timmy Poe's Thunder Lures spinnerbait... The 1/4oz. has been a mainstay on the Ohio River for decades. There are a few places on the internet that sell them. If they can't get them for you call Dixie Marine Fairfield, OH (513) 874-0825 they'll ship them to you...

If your inclined you can also get the head and frames from Lure Parts Online and make them yourself... Dan

Those look great! Thx. Almost exactly like the ones I want except the lower wire arm is longer. I am now thinking I will try Lure Parts Online before I buy others that may not fit the bill. Thx to all.

Family owned near Quitman TX. This bait gets bit when other spinners won't. This is why Santone made their Get 5 spinner.

It is .032 wire so you have to reshape it after each fish but don't cuss it because it bends when you catch a fish.

The closest I can use as an example is the small okie bug which is no longer made to my knowledge. Here is a pic of a cheapo I got desperate and bought from Academy. Even it catches fish but they don't have it anymore either. Small and compact. TIA for your help.

The old bomber mini whacker was a good one, caught a ton of fish on the double blade as a kid
