This look pretty cool, but I have to admit that I am curious as to why they skipped 1/2 and 3/4 ounce sizes and went up to 1 ounce.
Be safe, Rayzor ![[Linked Image]](http://i418.photobucket.com/albums/pp267/JLedbetter/th_Boatpics036.jpg) 2001 Triton Tx-21/225 Mercury EFI

Rayzor, great question. Paul Bunyan's Lucky "66" was a very popular, and very successful, lure in the 1950s and 60s before it became a casualty of a corporate merger. We decided to match the original lures as closely as we could, but we will be introducing new sizes and more options in the near future. The three orginal sizes were listed as "Spinning", "Casting" and "Trolling", so basically there were three different models, each designed for spinning tackle, bait casting gear, and trolling rods. Most bait casting reels at the time were direct drive, didn't feature a star drag, and were strung with black braided dactron (as I remember). In short, the reels of the day didn't provide anglers the finesse that today's high tech reels provide. There was actually a fourth size of Paul Bunyan's Lucky "66" : a 1/25th ounce fly rod model. Before the widespread introduction of ultralight gear, anglers would throw the 1/25th ounce version on fly rods. To see all the sizes and color combinations, I hope you will check out our online store at www.paulbunyanslucky66.com
