Time for new batteries and considering lithium. Running a Ghost trolling motor 24 volt on a Ranger Z118. 2 Lowrance TI-2 running off the cranking battery.
Recommendations on size and companies. Thanks

I would contact this guy and ask him for recommendations. I bought from him and his customer service was top notch. He easily could have made another $500-700 on me but he recommended a lesser package than I thought I needed. He was 100% correct.

My ionic battery has been flawless. Running 4 graphs livewells 360 FFS and after a full 12 hour day my single ionic battery still
Shows over 50 percent on my app. I plan to convert my trolling motor batteries soon.

Drew is pretty good. 100ah’s if you fish all day and don’t want to charge up every day or 50ah’s if you don’t fish very hard/long day.

Your charger might not be compatible, post what it is and someone will confirm its compatibility.

For cranking you can get the Ionic 100ah or 125ah, I’d go with the 125 though.

Depends on your budget and how long you plan to run.

For trolling, 2x 50Ah would be the minimum. 2x60Ah is a good place to be and 2x100Ah is....a lot. (equivalent to 4x traditional deep cycle batteries)

This might be a good starting point.

Another vote for Ionics and Andy at Drewcraft. I went all in with them over 2 years ago and they still amaze me.

Ionics here too. I have two 50’s for the trolling motor and a 125 for everything else. I have yet to get them below 60% fishing an 8 hour tournament. I bought the factory reconditioned Ionics and spent just under $1000 for all three batteries, shipped, and a 3-bank Noco 10a per bank charger. I have three HDS graphs, FFS module, a Sonic hub stereo, and 4 pumps running on a typical day of fishing. I fished for 4 hours Saturday, in the wind, and the trolling batteries were at 92% full after four hours. The main battery was at 93%.

I've ran my 3 50's down to the mid 30% range once but that was the exception not the norm. Fished wind blown points all day in a tourney and it was howling over 20mph the whole time. On a normal tourny day I'm usually down to the mid to low 60% range. Since going to the new brushless Quest I haven't seen below 70%

I bought Ionics thru Drewcraft as well. Couldn't be more happy. (3) 50ah's for Garmin Force, and 125ah for everything else. I haven't seen below 60% for an all day trip.

I have three of the Ionic 50ah and even fishing gard for 10hrs or so I've not been below 70%. Not even in current. I stay on the TM a lot too.

I have the 125ah cranking battery from Ionic as well. Very happy with my setup. I have a Skeeter ZXR20 with Livescope and M360. I assumed I needed the 100ah for trolling batteries but he recommended the 50ah. Very satisfied with them.

But you guys aren’t Josh Jones and don’t cover 8 miles of water… roflmao

I wouldn’t recommend anyone go with less than a 125 for the cranker, I’ve almost killed mine (a 125ah) in a day and I’m not a super serious tournament practice guy.

Edit: my 125 is a dedicated electronics battery, not getting charged from the big motor. (Figured I better mention that)

I have Ionics too. I would look at the Noco charger too. My Ionic 4 charger lost a bank withing 12 months and gave out completely after 18 months. The tech guy I talked to at Ionic didn't speak too favorably about their chargers.
