I remember learning about the senko in 07 or 08. It completely changed my fishing game. Gave me confidence in soft plastics and worked in all weather and waters. Thank you Mr Yamamoto for your contribution to the fishingnworld..

Yamamoto watermelon red and green pumpkin is the only two I throw.

There are a few I throw according to the bait. Can’t even begin to imagine how many bass I’ve caught on the bait. Lots of big fish also.

Sometimes in muddy water they will hit any color as long as its chartreuse pepper.

Watermelon/White laminate was the very first color I had (back in ‘03-04) Wore out all sorts of Lake Travis Bass with em. Complained about the +4$ a bag though lol- 912 is the only color you need

First Senko bait I used was one of those crazy swirl chartreuse and blue Wave Worms. Think they were called Tikki Sticks. I probably still have some somewhere. Senkos are still a top bait in my boat. Love ‘em!

I've thrown one few times but never had any luck with them. I have both Senkos and the BPS version in inventory in a couple of colors. You guys Texas rig them mostly or do the wacky rig thing? I've fished them both ways. As much positive information as I have seen about them over the years they must be awesome lures to catch fish on.

I toss them several different ways. 1) shakeyhead mostly. 5/16 oz crock o gator heads. Black/blue laminate for this one fishing steeper rocky banks 2) Slider head - when I'm fishing docks I can skip them up in there and let them glide. Red shad and green pumpkin are my two favorites for this 3) Wacky rig - I will use south-african special on bluff walls. Deadly!

Also caught several over 8 whacky style.
