What is an ISO-32 Hydraulic Fluid? That is what is on the Green Marine hydraulic fluid bottles that is sold for Power Poles. I would imagine that it is supposed to be an environmentally safe product. I have not seen anyone in town that sells this stuff. I am wondering if there is a similar product on the shelf of a Wal-Mart, O-Reillys, Auto Zone, etc.

Designed to be used with equipment that will be used outdoors, this hydraulic oil handles low temperatures and rapid temperature swings. Wear-resistant properties keep hydraulic pumps and equipment working, even in high-pressure systems.
Viscosity is the thickness of an oil. The higher the grade, the thicker the oil, and the less it flows.
Check Tractor Supply. and all the places you mentioned.

Also, ISO32 standard in itself does not signify a "green" product - PP's branded fluid is a green product and is ISO32. But, you can alway buy standard ISO32 that is basically just normal hyd fluid (meeting ISO32 specs), just not green. Most Home Depots, Lowes etc will sell it by the gallon, and it's much less costly than PP ISO32 green quarts.
Std. ISO32 vs PP's Green ISO32 is a whole 'nother discussion - just do a search, it's been talked about quite a bit in the TM forum.

You can find Green Marine fluid at West Marine. We have one in Austin, there are some of those in Houston too.

If you use the green fluid you will have to change it out often or it will gum up the pumps and you’ll be sending them to Power Pole for repair. Looks like a paper towel has been put in the tank from my experience. I just use the regular ISO32 hydraulic fluid. I do change it it out every 3-4 months just in case. If you want some Green fluid I think I have 6 quarts maybe more I’ll make you a deal on. That’s what they send back with them after repairs.
