I broke my falcon c-rig rod, tied on immediately a c-rig on a bass pro qualifier rod and cast the same area- the feeling was night and day difference- and it wasn’t even a high end falcon rod.

I suggested a rod from the list that I posted on here. So, now that we have what rod you like best for the C-rig, what baits are your favorite to throw on it.

Zoom Super Fluke the majority of the time. Grande Bass Rattlesnake or Mutant the rest of the time.

If you throw a short leader or a 1 oz weight you can probably get away with shorter rods.

If you use lighter weights and/or longer leaders, I find the longer the rod the better.

I will use a 7'6" occasionally, but I prefer 7'10" or 8'.

I rarely use a weight heavier than 1/2 oz.
