Where is that pothole located that everyone is talking about? Up the ramp or closer to the water? Why can't it be filled? I remember a pothole up the ramp from a few years ago, but surely guys have been trying to fill it up with something???

There is one as you are going down the hill to the ramp on the right side and then there is one about 2 truck lengths in front of the ramp kinda off to the left side of the road going up hill. They both can be filled, just takes someone to actually do it. Thats all.

The road leading out of the ramp has always been horrible. It is worse now since they re-did that area, but still much better than years past. AEP owns this property and they aren't too concerned about the conditions....

The times I was out there in November and the first week of December the water temp was colder than I have ever seen out there.

It's easier to unload there than it is at Perky. Parking at both is the problem.

Ahhhh, When everybody was talking about popping tires in the potholes on the Welsh ramp, it was messing with my head! That Pirkey ramp didn't look familiar to me at all. Shoulda read ALL of the thread (my bad) ! Haven't been on Welsh for a couple years......

There was a large fish kill at Welsh in summer '22, got that info from a local warden.
