Watching it gave me a lump in my throat. I've watched this show as long as i can remember. Hate to see it go away.

Overworked, me to, I think I've watched nearly since it's inception. If I remember right they were actually showing it on a TV station out of Monroe, Louisiana in the 80's, The usually had him and Mrs .Deb on and they'd be followed by Cajun Phil. Jerry Dean used to set me on fire fishing the Tri-Lakes, Fork and all the power plant lakes in Texas. I even subscribed to the magazine. He had me hoping that one day I'd get to move out here and enjoy the fishing so I started applying for jobs out here and eventually made the move from northeast Louisiana to northeast Texas. Bill carried on the flame and I watch him on TV and via the Pursuit Up App. I figure if Bill is physically able he'll resurface with another show.

A part of bass fishing history is gone. I first met Jerry at Monticello. Then got to know him and Deb through the magazine and Honey Hole bass club affiliation.
I was fortunate enough to get to film a show with Jerry and Bill. And actually had a monthly article in the magazine. Great times then and now. What Jerry and Deb and Floyd stated and Bill and his crew finished with will never be duplicated. And that tells you how great the show and magazine was.

With all of the technology and social media of today I don't think a lot of people know just how important it was and how passionate we were about shows and magazines like Honey Hole and the early days of Bassmaster. We were lucky to have the Jerry Deans, Barry Stokes and even Freddie Grant and others where we learned about fishing. And the longevity of Honey Hole carried on by Bill Wilcox and crew. I would maybe be out fishing a tournament but couldn't wait to get home to watch some fishing show that I had set up to record just to see the tournament fishing or learn a new bait or technique.
Today you can scan and watch hundreds of videos and I am a junkie at that but nothing will replace the people involved with bringing up that content back in the day.

What does this really mean - is it just the TV show or also there won't be any new VOD? I notice that my subscription just auto charged today? Of is that for December?

The way I took all the posts is that the show was done, I went ahead and cancelled my VOD.....

I still have a few fire-fire tiger bomber crankbaits. Jerry always threw these. Lol!

Meh. It had kinda started going downhill. It had seen better days. Something new will Come along.

I agree. I like Bill but once he started sitting in the chair by the boat I kind of lost interest.
