Highly disappointed at what they tried to pass off as brisket this afternoon. No bark, fat cap was inch thick, didn’t even trim it at all. Sausage was dry. Turkey was great (probably their best meat. Sides were unmemorable. $100 for 3 ppl.

Hard 8 > BBQ on the Brazos

They bank on you wanting them to dip it in butter.

Going out to eat is insulting.

Every time I have eaten at Hard 8 in Coppell I have been disappointed very dry brisket plus has always been on the overly expensive side. Does not even compare to 407BBQ or even Marty B’s. If I was grabbing a quick take out meal I would probably go to Soulman’s over Hard 8 if being honest.

Overpriced, below average BBQ with average sides. I shake my head every time I drive by at so many cars. Never understood the attraction.

Mom and I would go sometimes when we had the lake house. Not a fan, but she liked their porkchop. The brisket has always been the worst looking meat they have offered.

tff christmas party was at one yrs. ago (monty brought gloves lol) and the food sucked then too.

brisket was dry and tough, sausage was overcooked, sides were meh and overall I gave it a minus 3 on a 1-10 scale.

never eaten at a soulmans but have thought of trying the one in greenville when there.

I ate at the one in coppell once. the brisket was all fat. the only thing good about the meal was the beans.

I've had Soul Man's in Greenville. Not bad, but not great, either. For fast chopped beef sandwiches on the go, Texas Best is hard to beat. That's my usual go-to. Here's a tip...ALWAYS get the sauce on the side. That way, you can add what you want. I don't like my sandwiches soggy or dry.

It was decent a long time ago. It hasn't been in recent years.

I’ve never had a bad meal at Hard 8, never a great meal either, but every time I’ve eaten at BBQ on the Brazos it was pure trash. Hard 8 is about like Dickies.
