I like it too Doc... I really miss Luzianne Coffee with Chicory... I was once told I could get kicked out of a cajun gypsy camp for making the coffee too strong.

I have 5 or 6 # of costa rican in the freezer, special occasions are rare. lol

I do. Brewed coffee for me all the way. I make it every morning, then brew another pot at night if I'm at home.

I grew up with a percolator. At the deer camp it was raw coffee, dumped into a pot and boiled.

Just had Folgers the other day; it’s what super olds drink….it is good though.

Community dark roast, which we get on sale for $5 - $6 per bag.. Whole bean of course, grinding just before brewing makes a world of difference.

My grandparents all drank Folgers. I vaguely remember a time in the early/mid-1980s when my paternal grandmother threw a fit when coffee prices rose steeply (I think she said she had to pay $5 for a big can of Folgers). She switched briefly to Maxwell House because there was a coupon for it. After a while she said it wasn't worth it and went back to Folgers. Granted, all my grandparents died before the age of 73, so maybe they weren't super olds?

Community Dark roast is also very good…along with their espresso roast.

IC Doan; it is impossible to make coffee too strong….those Turkish folks come close, but you just gotta add a bit of cream.

I eat my own tooth crowns. Cardboard is a step way up for me. A good cup of cardboard in the morning is a fine spark for a pooh.

Dunkin’s coffee is good but far from cheap. Actually stupid expensive for what it is.

Yes, wife got Folgers Black Silk. It is very bold and full bodied. Flavored coffees and creamers are for TinkerBell type drinkers. Hot and Black.
