This Hawaiian rarity is known as Pao'pao. They have thick pig-like lips that help protect them from foraging for crustaceans. Because of their high fat diet they're excellent table fare raw or cooked! They're greyish with vertical banding. But near death they start to turn Golden. This one went vertical only 5ft from shore because it was trying to dig a crab out of the muddy bottom.
