Who cares. It is a benefit tournament for kids. If people choose not to fish because they can't use their FFS then they weren't fishing for the right reasons anyway.

Hopefully more tournaments follow suit. Imagine anglers having to use their actual fishing knowledge instead of just using a computer screen.

It's true. If you sucked before FFS, you'll still suck with it. You'll just have spent more money to suck.

You have to unplug it, so I guess if you’re a cheater, then you’re cheating in any form possible. One just hopes that humanity will eventually regain morals and ethics. It’s not like cheaters are ethical or moral, so there’s always someone trying to slip one by.

From what I’m hearing I’m not sure that rhetoric is true. I’m hearing many that have no clue how to fish without FFS are dominating the tournament scene, If you unplug their FFS either they don’t show or they don’t compete.

I don’t know if this is entirely true, but I do think it’s weird hearing open level competitors who have never weighed in a fish on a crankbait, I’ll just leave it there.

They’ll put a piece of security tape on the transducer plug. If the tape is messed with, there is a backing that releases. It’s impossible to bypass, yet easy to totally remove afterwards. The tape would have to be intact at the end of the day to prove it wasn’t plugged in.

Got to start putting limits at some point
