 Live Oak City Channel Cat Pending Record.

Had the pleasure to weigh a nice Channel Catfish that was caught on Live Oak City Park Lake. The fish was caught by Nathan McCarther of San Antonio. The fish was 26.5" in length with a certified weight of 7.37 lbs. The current record is 4.71 lbs. caught back in 2012. Paper work will be sent to Texas Parks & Wildlife for their review. Congratulations to Nathan on his pending record Channel Cat. Weighing record fish. So cool you were there to document it- Yes Sir, I love being a weigh station for Texas Parks & Wildlife. I have met some wonderful people over the years and taking part in some simple enjoyments of life.
