Was down at Lake Whitney the other day and put together a video.

Check it out if you want and give me all the constructive criticism you can think of. Going to be going back this week looking for some bigger cats and maybe some stripers.

Good job man. Putting together full videos is tough. There's a lot of work that goes into it. There are some guys on here that can probably help you out quite a bit. Keep at it and you'll just get better.

The positive:
Your camera angle and shots are spot on. Great view and perfect positioning. A lot of folks have challenges with that.
Nice fish! Folks want to see the action, and those two cat's were a good size and in prime condition.
The sunset shot as you headed back was great.

The negative:
Sound. The volume was too low at the kick off, but ended up about right so not sure what changed. When that wind blows it may be problematic, so you might want to invest in.a decent microphone.
Not really a negative, but a bit more info on why you targeted that particular spot, any insight into depth, features/structure etc would be good.

I am interested in how you mount your GoPro (or other), as you clearly had at least two, and they were perfect spots.

Lastly, I really like your cockpit in your boat. My old bones would enjoy those cushy seats and that sofa for a nap when those fish aint biting!

Thanks so much for the feedback. For the camera angle I have a selfie stick that I shove between that cushions and the console on either side. I haven't invested in a proper mount yet but this seems to work well to move it to either side as I can get a good view from everywhere. Ill try to remember to take pics or a short video of it soon.

I just got a nice two mic system from DJI and I think I forgot the cord for it that day. I used it in my latest video but the batteries ran down by the time I found the fish. Im going to need to be better about turning them off and on along with the gopro batteries.


Yea the seating was one of the big reasons I got this boat. Its not the best fishing boat by a long shot buy I can do what I need to and that captains chair is so nice when Im waiting for a bite.
