There have been at least one 16 caught in the last month from I've and NUMEROUS 13+ this summer, so yeah probably opening day.

I’ve never been there, and don’t have any plans of going, but I have to admit it’s fun just reading about how it has pumped out the big fish over the last few years.

I have a place near Ivie and stay here 10-15 days a month. One of the top guides told me that he didn't think there would be as many this season as last season. Just his opinion.


The only thing worse than a porta potty in the wintertime is a porta potty in the summertime.

I had dinner/Beer with 2 of the guides at Ivie last night and asked them how many SAL here this season ? both said less than 10 would be their prediction. WE will all wait and see I guess.

Hadn't been nearly as busy as it had been the last few years if that tells you anything, and it is still busy. Will only get busier after the first of the year.
