Got this rod in today and it is by far the nicest one I have from Gan Craft so far. Its a heavy action but not as heavy as expected from them, which was a good thing for me. It does have the weight balance system for those wondering. There is also a picture of the Killer Dictator with the Shimano DC100 on it. The reel pictured on the White Noise is the new Megabass/Daiwa ITO Monoblock made from a solid block of aluminum. It is the smoothest reel I have ever owned and won't be available forever so if anyone wants one.....let me know and I'll help you get it. Thanks! Your $500 combos are just as good as any of mine....I just pay more for collector value and rarity.....performance isn't affected proportionally by price after about $500....you're doin' just fine I'm sure!

amazing. what kind of line is that orange line?
PB largemouth- 7lb
PB buffalo- 9 lb
PB common carp-7.5 lb
PB channel cat-7 lb
pretty weak now but lots more to come hopefully

The line is Suffix that I found in the bargain area of Cabelas.....like 5000 yds for $20....can't beat that! Evv59, Check out the next notch I'm about to step up to. They made a VERY limited run of these ITO reels in red with matching custom limited rods that can only be used with one another. They are in route from Japan as we speak!!

Nice looking rigs as always. Not bagging, but why if you'd spend however much on your sweet rigs would you go and put some bargin bin line on it?

Suffix is good line and the color was more important than the performance because I had it on an orange rod on display. I have a plethora of different colored lines to match whatever rig I'm using at the time. Until I lose a big fish over some bad line I won't spend $40 on 100yds of Gamma or something of the like.
