Wanted to pass on to anyone on the fence with regard as to where or whom to purchase a pelagic fish thumper !
Had a problem getting my Bobo Thumper running or " thumping "
Called Jeff Bobo , he answered immediately . I asked if he had time to look at said thumper. He obliged and told me to bring it over and he would fix it while I waited.
Thumper up and running !
BTW he was putting together thumpers to be shipped while answering his work phone from his network of building contractors.
Thanks Jeff, as a lot of customer service in todays world would have put me off or stated, mail it for a later day when I'm not so busy

I have used my Bluetooth redneck thumper around many boats, and the original thumpers are superior in all ways. Yo They are loud! I have built several tinkering in the garage, and they work pretty darn good. But the only motors I had in the junk pile were Pittman motors, and they draw quite a bit of current. Going out without some kind of thumper (IMO), is a huge disadvantage. Seen many boats with a stick, or a broom handle work very well.

Thanks Gborg! I enjoyed visiting with you. I try to treat my customers the way I want to be treated. It’s worked out so far. Sorry I didn’t see this sooner. I’m usually too busy building thumpers to have much time to login here to see what is happening. Again, I appreciate your post!

For what it's worth, I did build my own, pretty much a copy of jbobo's. But I have not seem one do anything.
I have rheostat marked up to 100 TPM. Most videos I watch they are running around 85 TPM. So I have that marked as well...but still lackluster results.
Now the splasher, that is a fish magnet. I made my splasher too...it holds the fish (Hybrids) right under the boat!
I've 7 epic Hybrid trips in a row starting in October. Every trip I spot lock on them and the splasher has been holding them undeer the boat for over 2 hours on each trip!
Last trip I was catching doubles deadsticking and I was on a solo trip!
