We finished up November with a bang and got December off to a good start! Weather has cooperated for the most part and we're splitting our time between "Eater Size Cats" and "Magnum White Bass"! We're on a Catfish bite that has been from GOOD to AWESOME depending on the conditions. A little wind and cloud cover seems to be the difference between the two. On a couple of trips during the Full Moon and Calm/Slick Mornings, the bite was a slow start and fast finish. We're way up the Richland Creek near the RR Tracks and fishing timber in 15'-20' FOW. We keep it simple dropping a treble hook loaded with Danny Kings Blood Punch Bait and almost always on the bottom. The norm is a few more Channels than Blues. RC is in good shape with the water level 2.5' feet below Pool Level and water temp is 59-61 degrees. The Catfish bite described above will continue all Fall, into Winter and last till early Spring.
