Just got a new Lowrance HDS Live 12 and Active Target 2 for my Mako 22' center console. Currently running an Elite 9 ti2 (3 in 1 ducer) on the console and a Motorguide xi5 tm. Do you recommend putting the new HDS on the front? Should I network the 2 graphs and the xi5 together? I primarily fish for whites and stripers but plan on doing some drifting for catfish. Appreciate your input!

You’re Ti2 won’t run the AT, so I think you have to put the HDS up front.

Since the Ti2 doesnt have a ethernet port you can't network them to share Sonar. You can network them via NMEA2k and will only share your accessories like GPS antenna, autopilot, trolling motor, etc.

I would put the HDS12 where you spend most of your time fishing since you will have AT2 hooked to it, maybe later on add in another unit to network to share to the back of the boat,
